The bard will play a soothing melody upon a harp, which will may appease a potentially hostile creature, negating all aggression.

 

If the targeted creature loses the avoidance-roll against the Bard, it will go about its normal business, unconcerned with the presence of the Bard and his or her allies (while the "Duration" is in effect).
